Farewell - "MJ"

MJ
Long before Obama, Woods and Winfrey, an individual proved that race and color cannot fence someone from attaining everlasting glory and unimaginable dominance in a chosen field. Accomplishing these endeavors around a time when racial discrimination was still prevalent and in a field strictly reserved for the so-called “elite”, makes that achievement even more unique.
He was the undisputed emperor of music not just in his country but across the planet. An entire era watched him sing and dance, totally mesmerized and in awe of his beyond belief talent. At some juncture, we all tried to moon-walk like him. The world knows him as Michael Jackson, who without any iota of doubt is the all time greatest entertainer. He single handedly revitalized the pop music scene.

Michael Jackson began his music career at a tender age of 7 years. His first stint came in the Jackson 5 group that was formed along with his siblings in 60s. His solo career set off to a blazing start in 70s. His album Thriller (1982) stands out as the world’s best selling record of all time. Other albums like Off the wall, Bad, Dangerous and History are also among the world’s top selling albums.
Michael was inducted 2 times into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His awards include multiple Guinness World Records, 13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career – more than any other male artist and sale of over 750 million records worldwide, making him the world's best selling male solo pop artist.

Amidst these inconceivable peaks came unthinkable lows. His personal life and image took a severe beating as allegations of child molestation surfaced. His reclusive life style during the last decade further strengthened the media speculations. Despite these contentions, Michael’s place in the history as the most popular artist in show business is cemented.
If there is an international celebrity who is recognized in small towns and villages in India (or any country for that matter), its Michael Jackson all hands down. This is the true testament of his international fame and recognition that transcended across each and every country.

It is often said that when music transcends from an artist’s heart and soul, it has an indelible effect on the audience. And probably that’s why Michael is way up there – the best there ever was, the best there ever is and the best there ever will be. Rest in peace MJ..

Happy Fathers Day

Its fathers day today and, i wish my dad a very happy fathers day. He inspires me a lot and he's the person whom i admire. I love to call him 'pappa' than dad or something else, hehe. He's a good friend of mine and he cares me a lot and loves me sooo much. He's always the best for me. He always encourages me towards my goal and helps me in reaching my destination. I will be very confident when he's beside me and his hand is on my shoulder. I love him sooo much and i am very lucky to have a father like him. I wish him a very Happy Fathers Day once again...
A small poem for my DAD....!!
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so,
He called it ... "DAD".

The most fucked-up article i've read recently

So wives and girlfriends need to "beware of the maid" because a well-known actor raped his. How much worse can you get at blaming the victim? Maybe the fact that the alleged rapist is a popular and good-looking actor and the victim is just a domestic help has something to do with this?
Way to go, Kalpana Sharma and the Times of India. I don't have enough words to express my disgust.

To sister...with love.

Its my sis. birthday and i wish her a very very happy birthday. I like her a lottt, and we always fight for silly things and i love it. She should celebrate many many birthdays like this.. And, On this occasion i wanna dedicate a poem for her....Hope, you guys too like it.
......................................................
A sister is the one who makes life easier to live,
Whom you can share our likes and dislikes with,
She is the one who tells us her vast secrets and feelings
And asks us to do the same,
And has the rights to know all our friends' name.
She makes us feel comfortable when we are sad,
She guides us the right way when we are bad,
She is more than any word can tell,
She holds us when we tend to fall.
She comes to know our problems through our eyes,
She is of course naughty but wise,
She is my life's sunrise.
We should always make oneself full
of these qualities to be a sister.
And my Sister you are the most beloved to me
As you care so much for me!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAR SISTER!!!

We hate RACISM..!!!

Racism is the worst thing going on in abroad now. Most of the Indian students are being affected by this act. This racism is in America and Britain and also now in Australia. Its becoming worse these days....and, there's no one to listen their grief. Now-a-days every student is thinking twice and thrice before going to any foreign country...even their parents are.
I have been reading and watching through the media the most unfortunate and violent attacks on Indian students in Australia, some of them lying in a most critical condition in hospital. I have observed with utter dismay the anguish that these incidents have caused to the families of those who have become unfortunate victims...huh, these attacks are becoming very severe. Australia govt. should do something to stop this violence. Hope its will do so..huh.
Anyways, i will leave now. .
With love,
Ganesh
